Weltrend to Showcase Qualcomm Quick Charge 4/4+ Solutions at Qualcomm 4G/5G Summit in Hong Kong

Hsinchu, Taiwan, October 12, 2017 – Weltrend Semiconductor (TAIEX: 2436) today announced that it will exhibit and showcase its Qualcomm® Quick ChargeTM 4 and Quick Charge 4+ controller solutions at this year’s Qualcomm 4G/5G Summit Expo, which will take place on Tuesday, October 17th from 5:30pm - 8:30pm in the Hung Hom Ballroom on the 1st floor of the Kerry Hotel in Hong Kong. |
At the Expo, Weltrend will showcase charger reference designs including wall chargers and car chargers based on its WT6615F, one of the industry’s first fast charge protocol controllers to achieve Qualcomm Quick Charge 4 and Quick Charge 4+ certifications. |
The WT6615F is a highly integrated USB Power Delivery (PD) controller that supports USB PD 3.0 Programmable Power Supply (PPS) specification and Qualcomm Quick Charge 4 or Quick Charge 4+ technologies designed for USB Type-C Downstream Facing Port (Source) charging applications such as power adapters, wall chargers, car chargers, power strip, power banks, and etc. |
