Intellectual Property Management

Intellectual property includes patents (inventions, utility models, designs), trademarks, chip layout protection, copyrights, trade secrets, and more. Our company allocates intellectual property resources to achieve and maintain relevant technological outcomes in line with our operational goals and R&D investments. To ensure that the creation, application, protection, and management of our intellectual property are more comprehensive and systematic, we have established an intellectual property management system. This system not only strengthens our competitive advantage but also aids in profitability. Our company has established an Intellectual Property Management Committee. The members of this committee are appointed by the President and include a Chairman and seven members, with their term of office being two years starting from the date of implementation, after which the President will appoint new members. Additionally, an assistant is appointed. The committee reports to the Board of Directors every fourth quarter.
Patent Management
Our R&D team is responsible for technological development and occasionally collaborates with external patent firms to plan and apply for IP patent. The relevant patents are primarily used to advance new technologies, explore new applications, and develop new products in product lines such as Power Management and Analog, as well as Smart Applications. The Company encourages employees to discover ideas and actively propose new patents, aiming to secure a strategic position early on. This helps protect the company's product lines and ensures that our product technology remains at the forefront of the industry.
