WT5290
The WT5290 is a three tracks magnetic stripe data decoder and is a dedicated for single/dual/triple channels of magnetic stripe card reader systems. The WT5290 has a built-in amplification circuit and decodes head signals into digital data format, Clock & Data for each track. The WT5290 has a built-in automatic gain control (AGC), which automatically adjusts the amplitude of the input waveform to extent the dynamic range of the system, and has built-in powerful decoding algorithms to compensate for typical decoding problems like dropout, skew, low amplitude, jitter, stripe noise, and magnetic bias. The WT5290 easily decodes F2F data with swiping speeds from 3 to 75 inches per second. It has excellent performance to use in receiving and recovering F2F encoded data.
Features
- Simultaneously decodes three magnetic stripe tracks
- AGC (Automatic Gain Control) for reading cards from 30% to 200% of International Standards Organization (ISO) 7811 amplitude standard
- Reads data from card swiping speeds from 3 to 75 IPS
- Supports 75 & 210 BPI (bit per inch) recording density
- Supports power supply voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V
- Operation temperature range from -40℃ to +85℃
- Low power sleep mode current 80μA with 3.3V supply
- Low power operation during read decoding 3mA with 3.3V supply
- Card data output provides individual Clock & Data
- High noise immunity
- Simultaneously decodes three magnetic stripe tracks
