WT6620F

The WT6620F is a highly integrated USB Power Delivery (USB PD) controller that supports USB PD 3.1 SPR & EPR 36V specification. It is designed for USB Type-C®where DisplayPort Alt-mode over USB-C® capability is required for Audio/Video related applications. With the Display Port (DP) Alt mode over USB-C® capability, it can perform the dynamic handshaking in between source and sink devices, such as DP configure, status update, source/sink connection detection, DP mode Discovery/Enter/Exit, and support Vendor Define Message (VDM) function/Hot-Plug Detection (HPD) for intelligent power delivery as well. It is designed for USB Type-C power applications such as Projector, portable LCD monitor, PC Monitor, TV, Tablet and Dockings.The WT6620F minimizes external components by integrating USB PD baseband PHY, USB Type-C detection, shunt regulator, voltage and current monitors, NMOS load switch driver and an 8-bit MCU to allow small form factor and low BOM cost. Wide operation voltage range (3.3V to 45V) supports USB PD 3.1 SPR & EPR 36V specification. A Multi-Time-Programmable (MTP) ROM is provided for program code and user configuration data.
