WT7228
The WT7228 is a current mode control LED driver IC. It also can be operated in a constant frequency or constant off-time mode. The supply voltage range is wide from 20V to 450V with an internal voltage regulation at 7.5V. The minimum supply voltage can be reduced to 8.5V on special applications. The WT7228 also has a PWM dimming control signal with a duty ratio of 5% - 100% and a dimming frequency up to a few KHz. Besides, a linear dimming range from 1V to 5V is permitted to control the LED current. The WT7228 is suited for buck LED drivers and operated under an open-loop current-control mode. WT7228 makes a good output current regulation without the need of any loop compensation. This will effectively reduce external components.
